Sara Bowler, Visual Arts and Employability Business Fellow is an artist who has combined a career in arts administration with her independent practice in the visual arts. She has experience of working across a range of sectors and supports students in developing professional awareness in readiness for their future careers.
She has spent the past five years as a Visual Arts Officer at Arts Council England, initially as part of the artists' development team at the national office and, more recently, in the London regional office, where she managed a portfolio of client organisations and undertook grant assessments. Her lead area was artists' professional development. She has a degree in visual arts and an MA in glass from the Royal College of Art.
