Jono Wardle, Business Fellow for Advertising and Design has considerable expertise in advertising and communications and works with University College Falmouth's Advertising and Design programmes supporting graduate student start-ups and local businesses. He is also helping to attract businesses and commercial investment to the region.
Jono Wardle started his professional life as a Graphic Designer before deciding to join advertising as an art director, eventually becoming a creative director and board director of J Walter Thompson. He has helped create many press, poster, radio, and television campaigns including those for Boots, Persil, Kellogg, Barclays, Esso and Kraft. He has also worked at DDB on Toyota, Sony, and Courage, Rainey Kelly Campbell RoalfeY/R on The Times, and Lloyds Bank, and M&C Saatchi on British Airways. During his career Jono has commissioned, and collaborated with, some of the most talented film directors, sound engineers, photographers and illustrators in the country and has worked closely with local and global clients.
