Who are we and how do we fit in?
What is CUC?
CUC is a partnership of six institutions with an array of services available and business facing staff to help access them. Companies can contact CUC partners direct, or come through the CUC Business Support Manager, who will establish who can help.
How do we fit with other services available from commercial and publicly funded providers?
We can help your business develop competitive advantage - by working with you, alongside you and with others in your professional support network - in line with your business strategy.
We are often seen as part of business support for skills training and graduate placement - for sure these can benefit your business. Other services are in specialist areas of knowledge exchange, where it’s all about collaboration and how your business fits with our research foci. Not all services are free.
How business-friendly and flexible are our services?
Availability does vary across the portfolio, according to the extent the service is used by students or depends on students to make it happen. We try to manage your expectations case by case.
How do I know which services are relevant to my business?
Much of the information we produce is product-focused which presents a challenge when we communicate to business. You don’t need to navigate your way through this, just contact us and we’ll try and work out how we can help with your specific issues and challenges.
