Investment in Combined Universities in Cornwall to date:

  • EU investment in CUC Phases 1 and 2 = £76.5 million
  • UK investment in CUC Phases 1 and 2 = £73.5 million
  • Total investment in CUC Phases 1 and 2 = £150 million
  • Convergence investment in CUC projects = £70.5 million

CUC was the flagship project of the Objective One Programme for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly 2000 - 2006 and has attracted major investment through the Convergence Programme for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

 CUC has received investment and support from the Convergence Programme for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly (including both European Regional Development Fund and European Social Fund investment), the South West Regional Development Agency, Cornwall Council and the Higher Education Funding Council for England.
